Wild, Wild West

Tonight was Grant's (and Gavin's) final performance as a member of Sunset Express. He is thrilled. He enjoyed missing school for performances, but that was the extent of his excitement... or so he says. You would never know it watching him on stage. He loves the spotlight and puts on quite a show.

Tonight, they performed out at Tuacahn. It was a perfect night. There were choirs from 10 elementary schools that performed.

They had a western theme and so our kids were decked out in their western wear. Lucky for Grant, one of his buddies is an all out cowboy. We were able to borrow a belt buckle and some boots. I told Grant, "You look so cute". He said to me, "Cute is NOT the look I am going for". Oops! I guess we have out-grown the days of being cute.
I must say that our school sounded so good. I was proud that Grant was in Sunset Express and so glad that he finished with a good attitude.

How cute is he? I got a huge kick out of one of those pictures-Gavin is behind Grant and the two of them look like their really getting into performing. I bet this was a great performance!

Grant and Gavin look so cute in their western gear. What a great night for them to be on stage at Tuacahn...they are really stars now! I love Grant's belt buckle, he looks just like a real cowboy. He can claim all he wants that he doesn't enjoy Sunset Express but I've seen him up there having the time of his life, he's really a performer at heart.

Good ol Farmer Gav!
I loved this night...I cried watching Gavin up there with his solo part...could these boys be any cuter?
I love that Grant really got into the whole cowboy theme...he is so handsome!
