one FLU over the CUCKOO'S nest
WATCH OUT EVERYBODY! The swine FLU has hit the Hyde home (okay, I know it is not called swine flu anymore, but H1N1 is a lame, non-fun name). Garrett has been LAID OUT for two and a half days now. He has only gotten up three times in two days- once to go to the doctor and twice to pee. Poor kid hasn't had anything to eat and very little to drink in two days- if any of you know Garrett, you know what a HUGE deal this is. Gracie started coughing tonight. If she gets the FLU, this momma will be CUCKOO!!! However, Garrett has only said about three sentences in two days. Maybe it would be nice for Gracie to get it?! That was terrible of me!!!! I really would never wish this upon anyone. Garrett is absolutely miserable. Anyway, if you don't see us around for a week or two, you'll know why! Happy quarantining to us!

Kori,
Garret seemed like he was not feeling well at church. I'm so sorry! I hate the name swine flu and it's when my kids got it that I began calling it H1N1...the implications of swine flu to me mean that they live in sub-standard cleanliness (a pigpen) and that simply wont do. So to me it is now and forever H1N1. Good luck...I never got it and neither did Kyle so hopefully you will be as lucky!
That is so sad. Sometimes I wish I would get sick so that I could just lay in my bed for a couple of days. But, then that is dumb because what mom that gets sick gets to lay in her bed for a couple of days? Really! Yeah, so now, I don't want to get sick.
Anyway, good luck with all that. We have had a couple of things around here but they haven't lasted very long.
Sorry, I missed you on the iM the other day. What stuff do you have on your agenda? Anymore upcoming runs?
I am so sorry! It is miserable, isn't it! Just hope that you don't get it, because if you get it, you are a mom and won't be able to rest! Jared got it and it turned into phenomia, so just make sure garret gets plenty of rest till he is 100% again! Hey, on the bright side, he will be immune to it now;) enjoy your holiday season!
Oh gosh...I am sorry. I am so scared of the Swine. I have so many people living in my house, that's a lotta flu... during holiday season... I am with ya on the diminished talking however... I have a few kids that I'd like to quiet for a couple of days :)
You keep changing the background (darling, btw) but the post stays the same.....come on now, I KNOW you have exciting stuff going on to tell us all about!!
