WOW! Yesterday Russ celebrated his 39th birthday. He handled it really well, considering he went into depression for two weeks after he turned 30. He worked all day, ran the pitching machine at Grant's baseball game (having only struck out four batters on our team), and then went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the family. We thought he chose Texas Roadhouse so he could sit on the birthday saddle, but turns out that wasn't the case. No saddle, no singing, NO FUN. However, he did manage to top off dinner with a hot brownie and ice cream.
Russ' real birthday celebration will begin tonight at 10:00 when he boards a plane to the Bahamas. The Castaway Films group will be spending 11 days in Albaco fly-fishing for sharks, permit, tarpon, bonefish, jacks, and other salt water fish. When they went to the Bahamas last year, it rained the majority of their trip. We are praying for better weather this time. We will post pictures of the trip as they come. Hopefully, they will have access to e-mail.

Happy Birthday, Russ! I had no idea you were turning 39. You don't look a day over 32. Have fun in the Bahamas!!!
Are you going Kori?
We are jealous, especially since Colorado can't figure it out if it is winter or spring.
