Grant Gets Baptized

On Saturday, Grant was baptized by Russ. He looked so sweet and pure in his little white jump suit. He had the biggest smile on his face. At first I was very sad because I was asked to give the spiritual thought at the baptism. I was afraid that I would be so nervous about the talk, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the day. However, it was the greatest blessing. I was able to sit on the stand and look down at Grant with his toothless smile. I also got to watch his HANDSOME dad sitting with him, excited to baptize his son. It was really great!

The best part of the baptism for Grant, was that he was the last to be baptized. Erik Armour and Lexie Lovell, two of his classmates were also baptized on that day and were baptized first. Anyway, because Grant went last, he got to pull the plug in the baptismal font. He was so excited about that part.

Grant had a lot of support at his baptism. In attendance were Nana, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa Brooks, the Ellsworths (Brent, Kami, Gavin and Savanna), the Koenigs (Kaci, Brayden, Quincey, Morgan, and Alli), The Hyde/ Maxwell clan (Jill, JoNathan and Samantha), the Hydes (Kurtis, Tina, Max, Ashton, Cameron and Macy) and of course the other Hydes (Russ, Kori, Garrett and Gracie). We are grateful for all those that participated in Grant's special day and especially to those that took part in the program... Grandma Brooks (pianist), Kaci (chorister) and Papa for sharing his testimony.
