A lesson learned

The lesson...  Don't heely down the sidewalk with your hands pulled inside your jacket.
The result...

Gracie is a relatively smart girl.  At least she is very book smart.  Garrett had a baseball tournament a couple of weeks ago.  His team made it into the championship and the final game was late.  It was very cold that night (well, at least for us here in St. George).  Gracie had on her huge eskimo parka.  She had the brilliant idea of taking her arms out of the sleeves and bringing them inside her coat next to her body.  As she was walking down the bleachers, I told her to put her hands back in the sleeves, because if she fell she wouldn't be able to put her hands down.  She did, but a few minutes later her arms were again out of her sleeves.  She began "heelying" to the car.  Heelys are tennis shoes with a small wheel in the hel of the shoe, like skates with only one wheel.  Anyway, as she was racing down the hill her heely hit a rock and she went face first into the sidewalk.  She was unable to put her hands down to stop the fall and her forehead took the brunt of the fall.  Maybe next time she will listen to her mom, but I doubt it.

Who would Louis be without a cut, a bruise, a cast or some other form of minor-to-major injury?? Just asking!

Poor Little Gracie...she has a rough life!! She works hard to keep up with those brothers of hers and sometimes it backfires. She's had some practices with injury, that's for sure, this should be a drop in the bucket for her.

Oh bless her heart! I hope she's all healed up now and feeling better!
