The FIRST of many

Tonight we had a court of honor. This was Grant's first, official court of honor. He received his Boy Scout award, and his first merit badge- of course, it was Fishing. He is excited to get started in the scouting program and has a wonderful example to follow. Garrett earned a couple more merit badges tonight. He has completed all of his requirements and is starting his Eagle Project this fall. Good job boys.

You have the most remarkable children! I know we're supposed to be careful about using that word "proud" but it sure speaks to how I feel about my grandchildren. I know remarkable children don't "just happen", it takes lots of work, energy, time, attention, caring, organizing, etc. on the part of their parents...you and Russ are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work!
