1. February 2nd - Groundhog's Day! That always means six more weeks until we can start focusing on Spring. I love Spring and Summer and I am so looking forward to more sunshine, warmer temperatures, and baseball season.
2. February 3rd - My Birthday was wonderful. I worked. I took Garrett to basketball practice and Gracie to swim lessons. Grant had a basketball game and won again. Then we were off to pack meeting. Grant received his Bobcat award. Garrett received his Weblos award and his Arrow of Light award. I also received so many phone calls, e-mails, text messages, blog messages, wonderful gifts, and just felt so loved and cared for all day. Thanks to all who remembered my Birthday and made it such a fabulous day!
4. February 5th - Today was Gracie's last day of swim lessons. She was hilarious to watch. She had a little crush on Joe, her swim instructor. When she was supposed to have her face down in the water practicing her crawl strokes, she was looking at Joe- TALKING NON-STOP. She would move her arms and kick her legs, but she never stopped looking at Joe. She really is just a spaz. When Joe was working with another kid, she was plunging under water and waving to everyone who walked by or looked at her. I don't know that she got too much out of the lessons, but she had a great little social hour each day for the past two weeks.
5. February 6th- Tonight we went on a triple date with Brent and Kami and our parents. We ate dinner at the Honolulu Grill and then went to a DHS vs. SCHS basketball game. We had a great time. It was fun to have just adult time and not have kids whining and crawling all over us. I absoultely love sporting events. I really don't care who is playing, I just love watching and cheering. (Of course, it is more fun if you have someone to cheer on.)6. February 7th- Today was Garrett's Birthday. He had two basketball games that afternoon. We left straight from his games and took three of his buddies with us tubing up at Brianhead. Garrett has some really cute friends that are GOOD boys. We feel so blessed to live where we do, and be surrounded by the people we are surrounded by. I think a good time was had by all. Cute Tanner got really cold at the end of the night. I said, "Tanner, are you freezing?" He said, "Yeah, I'm cold. But I don't care how cold I get, this is still best Birthday party I have ever been to". Sweet kid.

Those were my favorite memories of last week. I am so grateful for all of the little blessings in my life, most of those blessings being our friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful week!

WOW that was a really great sounding week!
Congrats to both Grant and Garrett for their scouting acheivements! Its NOT easy...now I KNOW!!
and of course another B_DAY shout out to both you and Garrett!
So I remember that blind date OH SO WELL. Russ showed up with long hair, a flannel tied around his waist, arm in a cast, and WAITED so patiently on the couch for you to return home...and boy were you late! Poor Russell sat next to me while I channel surfed CMT and the TV guide station and had little to nothing to say!
Who would've thought the two of you would get married, have three babies and live happily ever after! I for one am glad you did!
Gee, what a wonderful week for all of you. Happy B-Day again to you and Garrett!! I'm so glad the tubing party was such a success and NO injuries! How great is that! I think Joe might just be the first of many loves for Gracie, she is such a flirt and so loving, I'm pretty sure you're going to have your hands full!! HA.
We will be forever indebted to whoever it was that fixed up the blind date, I do remember the romance being a little rocky in the beginning, so glad it smoothed out!! Congratulations to the boys for all their hard work in Scouts, it's not easy to achieve what they have and now that I am an "all trained" Scout leader, I KNOW!! Here's to another happy week for you and your family. P.S. Thanks for the fun FHE this week, it was a great night!
So the date you remember Kami, was our third... when I was trying to stand him up, but he wouldn't let me. I was so cruel :( But on our second date he had dropped me off and then went and hung out with some other chick after. I had heard about it, got mad, and decided to stand him up. Only he hung out with you for an hour and just waited for me. Hmmmm. I still wonder why?
You're so awesome!!! I love your posts & you remind me of all my little blessings & I'm so incredibly sorry that I forgot your birthday!!! So, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! (to you & garrett!) I'm so glad I get to keep up with ya'll through your blog!!!
Kori- What a week!! I think you are the busiest person I know. You have so much to brag about. And I just love that I can call you in the middle of the night and say... My resting heartrate is 85 beats per minute and I am just laying in bed doing nothing... and you say "Uh... huh, that's because you are pregnant and you are in the normal range. Eat a banana and go to sleep" You are the best-Thanks
I came for the dose of the 6. I love it. You are good to put in details about it. I will start doing that too.
I can't believe how busy a week can be for you! And I don't know how Gracie can swim in this cold weather!!! BRRR...I love reading about how you stood him up cuz you were mad! How funny that you would end up as a family! I'm so glad that you did! Love you lots! Jill
